Most store platforms are rented, or too large to audit. ShipEcom is a modular monolith you can clone and read: one Postgres, a Next.js admin and store API, an Astro storefront, and money stored as integers. Checkout, stock, and payment commit in one transaction. Docker Compose takes you from clone to checkout in under two minutes, and that path stays under 100ms.

Dekorex outgrew Ticimax, the commerce SaaS they were renting. I moved catalog, checkout, and ops with no downtime and kept the old SEO redirects, on storefronts doing 2M+ TRY. Turkey and the EUR shop share one backend: storefronts on Cloudflare Workers, admin and API on a VPS and Postgres I run.
